See some art
To commemorate the UAE’s rich cultural legacy, the Souk Madinat Jumeirah will premiere a large art project in November 2020 involving seven well-known regional artists. The second phase of the ‘Souk Seven’ project has begun, and it will see the souk develop into a must-see attraction. Amalie Beljafla and Amrita Sethi, two painters residing in Dubai, are included in the art exhibit. As a result, he’s been asked to design two new murals for the remodelled Souk Madinat Jumeirah’s entrance. Dubai’s Digital Art Theatre
In partnership with Vision Multimedia Projects, Madinat Jumeirah’s arts area has been transformed into a ‘modern stage for digital art’ with the launch of the Theatre of Digital Art Dubai (ToDA). Multi-sensory, multimedia immersive exhibitions and art in virtual reality are created as part of the project. Claude Monet and Wassily Kandinsky are among the artists featured in the Theatre of Digital Art Dubai. There has never been a place like this before in Dubai, allowing art lovers in the United Arab Emirates to see masterpieces from some of the world’s most famous artists through digital shows complemented by dazzling visual effects, music, and surround sound.

From brass and leather to top-notch pub food, the swanky hangout is located near The Meat Co. and serves up some of the city’s best beer and food. Souk Madinat Jumeirah’s newish Souk Boardwalk includes an outside patio for exquisite sundowners, as well.

The tiger prawns and classic Greek tzatziki served at this Greek restaurant in Souk Madinat Jumeirah are excellent, as is the rest of the Mediterranean fare on the menu. Outdoor bar Aegean has opened on the Souk Boardwalk at Taverna’s Souk location, featuring a rustic feel, grass, and lounge seating outside.
The Meat Co.
African Steak House is a casual fine-dining establishment that caters to meat-eaters, if the name doesn’t give it away. In 2019, the Meat Co. at Souk Madinat Jumeirah received a complete overhaul, both inside and outside on its cool deck. At this Souk Madinat Jumeirah steakhouse, you can enjoy everything from specialty burgers and steaks to people-watching fare.
Trattoria Toscana
In the heart of Souk Madinat Jumeirah, Trattoria Toscana is an appealing location to dine thanks to its rustic brick walls, huge sofas, and an open kitchen adorned with shiny brass pots and pans. If you’re in the mood for something a little out of the ordinary, you might want to try the truffle fondue, porcini mushrooms, smoked beef ham, and arugula.
Ushna Restaurant
This posh Indian restaurant in the centre of Souk Madinat Jumeirah is adorned with warm reds and oranges, bright draperies, and intimate alcoves, and is complete with a display kitchen and an outdoor patio, as well as an abundance of Indian chow.

The Souk Madinat Jumeirah branch of McGettigan’s has a pleasant, family-like atmosphere that we can’t help but return to. The balcony offers stunning views, while the interior is spacious but cosy. Head to the waters of Souk Madinat Jumeirah for a laid-back atmosphere.
Maria Bonita
One of Dubai’s best-known Mexican restaurants, Souk Madinat Jumeirah, has a sibling location. The tableside guacamole is a smashing (haha) dish, and the views from this restaurant are spectacular.
Perry & Blackwelder’s
There are plenty of beer discounts, a massive upstairs and downstairs area, and delicious chicken wings at Perry & Blackwelder’s Smokehouse. At P&B, you’ll find an extensive selection of classic comfort foods and shakes, as well as a large outside patio and a lower level where the actual party happens.
Trader Vic’s
