Before the Burj al Arab, there was the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. In fact, the sail-shaped Burj al Arab and the wave-shaped Jumeirah beach hotel are built next to each other perfectly. This hotel should be at the top of your list if you want to enjoy the view of the Arabian Gulf while staying in Dubai.
The Wild Wadi Park is also directly accessible from the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. To top it all off, guests of this hotel have unlimited access to the water theme park. Souk Madinat Jumeirah was inspired by traditional Dubai architecture. It will be built in the style of historical buildings found in Dubai’s old quarter. Jumeirah Sceirah
Climb into one of the two capsules and feel the tension rise as you wait for the floor below to open. Once released, you and another guest will travel at an incredible 80 km/h down the 120-metre tandem slides. Children and adults will enjoy it the most. Speed Slide is the ride type. During this ride, keep your arms and legs crossed at all times.
Burj Surj
Take a seat in a shared tube and begin the ride by sliding down a large waterslide. After that, you’ll go through two spiralling spins before embarking on another downhill waterslide that will drop you into a pool with a splash. One tube can only be shared by a maximum of five people. Family Slide is the best ride type for both children and adults.
Tantrum Alley
In the park, there’s yet another waterslide. This one, however, is more than just a waterslide; it combines a variety of adrenaline-pumping sections to make your ride unforgettable. There are three tornadoes in this ride, which has two long sections of waterslides
The three tornadoes that follow one after the other ensure that no one goes without screaming. From the top of this ride, you can get a good view of the Jumeirah Beach Road. That is probably not the first thing you notice as you are thrown around in this wild ride. Nonetheless.
At the end of this ride, you will take a loud plunge into the pool after all of the testing tornadoes. However, this ride is best suited for groups. You must go on this ride with at least two other people. And the maximum number of people allowed is four. To ride, one must be taller than 1.1 metres.
Breakers bay
This is the ride where you can go as long as you want. Immerse yourself in the Breakers Bay, Dubai’s largest wave pool. The waves in this pool are usually gentle and predictable. But keep an eye out for sudden bursts of powerful waves that will catch you off guard. This pool is only for people taller than 1.1 metres, and children must be supervised at all times.
Juha’s journey
This ride is named after the character who serves as the theme park’s main attraction. Wild Wade is obsessed with around Juha’s adventure, and this ride is no exception. But don’t expect any tense adventures in Juhas Journey. Rather, it is a lazy river about 360 metres long
This is most likely the ride you want to take in between all the thrilling and exciting ones. Lie on a float and float with the gentle tides. To top it all off, there are no height or age restrictions on this ride. However, parents should keep a close eye on their children at all times and ensure that they are wearing their life jackets.
But it’s not all boring. There are a few small waterfalls along the way that will take your breath away. After you’ve had your fill of sunbathing in the water, you can resume your adrenaline rush on other rides.
Master blasters
How about converting a roller coaster into a waterslide? That is exactly what the Master Blaster is. Unlike a regular water slide, which only transports you down the stream, this ride features high-powered water jets that provide a gravity-defying experience. There are sections of the ride that take you fifteen metres up the stream
This fascinating ride, however, is not a single ride. In fact, the Master Blaster is a collection of eight rides, each of which provides a unique riding experience. However, it has height and weight restrictions for those who ride on it. People who weigh more than 120kg or are shorter than 1.1 metres are not permitted to ride master blasters.
Juha’s Dhow and Lagoon
Over 100 water activities, including five slides, racing slides, a dumping bucket, and water guns, are available in this interactive family-friendly play structure. This play area was created specifically for children. Play Area is the best type of ride for children. This ride has a height restriction for children under 1.1 metres tall and their parent/guardian.
Action River
In this action-packed river ride, you’ll bounce along waves, go under a waterfall, and face unexpected rapids. Flood River has unannounced surges of 100,000 litres of water, resulting in 1 metre-high waves and rapid river rapids. Children and adults will enjoy it the most. River is the ride type.
Wipeout & Riptide
Wipeout is the ideal place to bodyboard, kneeboard, and even surf. The ride creates a realistic wave effect by shooting out more than seven tonnes of water per second in a thin sheet across a moulded foam structure. Adults and children alike will enjoy it. Surf Machine is the ride type. This is one of only four rides like it in the world. Don’t pass it up.
Tips
- The water park’s retail outlets sell a wide variety of merchandise such as swimwear, t-shirts, towels, and so on.
- This park, like other water parks, has age restrictions on certain rides, so bring your ID with you.
- First and foremost, bring your sunglasses and sunscreen lotions to avoid getting a tan.
- Do not bring food inside because it is restricted; instead, there are multiple food chains where you can get the food of your choice.
- GoPro cameras are allowed (except on Jumeirah Sceirah).
- Babies and toddlers must wear diapers that are waterproof. In the pools, children are not permitted to swim naked.
- All guests staying at Jumeirah Hotels are entitled to free admission to Wild Wadi Park.
- If possible, visit the park during the week. On weekdays, it’s far less crowded than on weekends.
- Avoid visiting Jumeirah Sceirah at the final moment of each day; the queue will shut within 45 minutes well before park is closed on busy evenings.
- To avoid long lines, purchase your Wild Wadi tickets online ahead of time.
- Provide snack breaks, especially for children, and ensure that everyone in your group stays hydrated.
- Before entering the park, make sure your phone and/or camera are fully charged.
