Wild Wadi Water Park in Dubai is not largest waterpark. However, it is quite large. And only second in terms of total area. In fact, if only size is considered, it is directly behind the Aquaventure water theme park. And deciding between them to determine a clear winner will be difficult
A few factors distinguish Wild Wadi from the other water theme parks in Dubai. Whether it’s Aquaventure or Laguna. Wild Wadi was the city’s first water park. Wild Wadi is a fascinating place to visit, surrounded by the iconic Burj al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, and Madinat Jumeirah.

Attractions in the vicinity of Wild Wadi Water Park
The proximity to other tourist attractions is one of the factors that make Wild Wadi a favorite waterpark among Dubai residents and visitors from around the world. The wild wadi water park is surrounded by tens of thousands of landmarks and attractions. Because of its convenient location near the main city.
It would be impossible to list all of the attractions near the Wild Wadi Waterpark. But here are the most notable of them all.
Burj Al Arab
This is the iconic luxury hotel that has long represented Dubai. Although there is no such thing as a seven-star hotel, some people do refer to the Burj Al Arab as such because of its extravagant luxury. Some of the hotel’s interior is entirely covered in pure gold. The hotel has a number of luxury restaurants and spas.
The Burj al Arab was built to replace Dubai’s first five-star hotel, the Chicago Beach Hotel. Initially, the new hotel was also going to be called the same thing. However, the ruler of Dubai chose the name Burj Al Arab a few months before its opening to be iconic of the region’s culture and heritage.
For a long time, the Burj al Arab hotel symbolised Dubai’s prosperity. However, the Burj Khalifa has largely taken over that role.
Jumeirah beach hotel
Before the Burj al Arab, there was the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. In fact, the sail-shaped Burj al Arab and the wave-shaped Jumeirah beach hotel are built next to each other perfectly. This hotel should be at the top of your list if you want to enjoy the view of the Arabian Gulf while staying in Dubai.
The Wild Wadi Park is also directly accessible from the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. To top it all off, guests of this hotel have unlimited access to the water theme park. Something useful if you intend to include a visit to the Wild Wadi in your itinerary. If you stay at this hotel, you will also have access to the private beach.
The Jumeirah beach hotel was already standing tall next to the Chicago beach hotel when it was demolished. This hotel, while not as well-known as the Burj Al Arab, is also a symbol of luxury in Dubai.
Souk Madinat Jumeirah
Souk Madinat Jumeirah is seven kilometres away from Wild Wadi Park, unlike the prior 2 places of interest, which are straight in front of the waterpark. And there’s something else that might surprise you. This lovely location is free to visit. Yes, without having to pay anything. If this is your first time in Dubai, you should also try Safari.
Souk Madinat Jumeirah was inspired by traditional Dubai architecture. It will be built in the style of historical buildings found in Dubai’s old quarter. And, like the old souks, this is a shopping destination. However, this is a modern destination in that regard. There are dozens of branded stores and entertainment options in this area.
This area was originally known as the Chicago beach village. Those who worked for the Chicago construction company had homes in this neighbourhood.
Wild Wadi Restaurants
The Wild Wadi Park has six food cafes to satisfy your hunger, ranging from fast food favourites like burgers, hotdogs, and shawarmas to healthy fruit juices and smoothies.
- Riptide Pizza
- Ali’s BBQ
- Shahbandar’s Cafe
